One of the owners is an "Ikebana" master, and flower arrangements will welcome guests upon arrival. The school of "Ikebana" is called "Saga Goryu" which was established here in Saga area for Saga emperor.

The Arashiyama Hanare House shares a "Zen garden" called Nakaniwa, with the main house. The owners live in the main house. But don't worry! The owners don't apperar in the garden basically when the guests are staying.
